Data Deduplication Steps
Set M-Clean Mode
Choose your preferred dedupe configuration — merge duplicates in both Marketo Engage and Salesforce, or limit it to Marketo deduplication only.
Define Matching Criteria
Select how duplicates are detected — by email address, company name, full name, or other key identifiers.
Identify the Winning Record
Decide which record should remain post-merge based on rules such as the oldest or most recently updated entry.
Customize Field Append Settings
Specify which fields should be retained or updated from the winning record to ensure precise and efficient CRM data deduplication.

Access Standardization Settings
Log in to your M-Clean account, then open the Standardization tab from the left menu.

Set Up Marketo Webhook
In Marketo, navigate to Admin > Webhooks, and select New Webhook to begin setup.
