    About the Client

The customer is a leading US-based global consulting and training firm specializing in organizational performance improvement. They offer extensive services, including leadership development and personal effectiveness training, empowering individuals and organizations for lasting success.

Operational Gaps in Managing Trainer Compensation and Orders

The customer struggled with fragmented data across critical business systems—Salesforce, Conga CPQ, and Training Orchestra—resulting in operational silos and inefficiencies. Inconsistent synchronization between Conga and Training Orchestra led to incomplete trainer session records and inaccurate compensation details in Salesforce, complicating payroll reporting. Additionally, calculating trainer salaries with multiple exceptions required extensive manual effort, making the process both time-intensive and prone to errors.

    Business Impact of Disconnected Systems

    Increased Manual Effort

Teams spent significant time reconciling data and processing salary exceptions manually, slowing down overall payroll operations.

    Higher Error Rates

Manual handling of trainer compensation led to frequent inaccuracies in payment calculations and reporting.

    Lack of Real-Time Visibility

Disconnected systems prevented leadership from getting a clear, up-to-date view of training sessions, compensation trends, and financial status.

    Inefficient Order Management

The absence of integration caused delays in order amendments and updates, affecting operational workflows.

    Limited Scalability

The manual and disjointed setup made it difficult for the organization to scale its compensation and order management processes as demand grew.

Seamless Integration and Automation with Salesforce, Conga, and Training Orchestra

Grazitti’s Salesforce experts developed a comprehensive custom solution using APEX, custom objects, and Conga APIs:

    1. Handling Order Amendments: Synchronized all line items between Training Orchestra and Conga orders/quotes. This ensures smooth order updates by setting deleted product quantities to zero.
    2. Custom Price Rules for Exceptions: Built a CPQ-like solution using three custom objects (Rules, Conditions, and Actions) to allow the customer to define and manage multiple salary exceptions automatically.
    3. Enhanced Order & Product Management: Used Conga APIs to enable the creation of new carts and syncing of line items, bypassing limitations in Conga CPQ regarding amending orders in an “In Amendment” status.
    4. Seamless Integration: Integrated Salesforce with Training Orchestra using REST APIs and created three custom objects in Salesforce to centralize training session and compensation data, ensuring real-time sync.
    5. 100% Compensation Automation: Utilized APEX classes to automate all trainer compensation calculations based on contracts and real-time training data, covering all exception scenarios.
