Let’s take a look at the updated cadence, and decode what is expected from it!

Notable Changes to Adobe Commerce Support Policy

Adobe Commerce is aware of the mission-critical needs of its customers. And keeping that in mind, they’ve introduced significant changes to their support policy.

Let’s dive deep into the most prominent changes they’ve announced!

      Longer Software Support Interval

Adobe Commerce has expanded the support for software for three years. Moreover, they are moving to one core application a year. The goal is to enable customers to focus more on optimizing their commerce experience by allowing more time between core patch releases.

More Frequent Delivery of Security Patches

Previously, Adobe Commerce was restricted to three patches. But, they are increasing the number of security patches to four to offer a more secure customer experience. Moreover, they are planning to keep the updates lightweight and easy to install for better adaptation.

      More Accessible New Features Delivery

Adobe Commerce will now make the latest features accessible by converting them into composable SaaS services. Features like Product Recommendations, Payment Services, Live Search, and Channel Manager will be deployed as composable services. The aim is to enable customers with new tools that would have an immediate impact on sales and boost performance.
